Before the applicator team begins applying the SealCrystal K-Coat product, prepare the surface or substrate as follows:

• Make sure that the surface (substrate) is free from oil, grease, hardeners and other foreign particles. This is critical for good adhesion of SealCrystal K-Coat.
• Treat voids and honeycombs (uneven or porous areas) before applying SealCrystal K-Coat. This ensures smooth and consistent application.
• Open the capillaries on the surface either by mechanical grinding or a high-pressure water jet. This step is important to increase the penetration and effectiveness of SealCrystal K-Coat.
• Before applying SealCrystal K-Coat, wet the surface with water. Pre-wetting can help improve the bond between the surface and the sealant.
