EPOXY FLOORING

DeckPro Primer SF

DeckPro Primer SF is a solvent-free epoxy primer that consists of two components, namely resin and hardener which must be mixed before application.

DeckPro Primer SF is a solvent-free epoxy primer that consists of two components, namely resin and hardener which must be mixed before application.

With this formulation, DeckPro Primer SF is suitable for application on damp surfaces because it is resistant to moisture. This is useful in situations where conventional primer may not adhere well due to moisture in the substrate.

DeckPro Primer SF is used as a base or base layer before applying epoxy floor coatings or other floor coatings. DeckPro Primer SF helps close the pores of the substrate, provides strong adhesion, and increases the performance and lifespan of the flooring system to which it is applied.

DeckPro Primer SF has the following advantages:

  • Has excellent adhesion to surfaces such as tile, concrete and metal.
  • Water based so solvent free.
  • Can be used by pedestrian traffic after 4 hours.
  • Vapor permeability.
  • It is not sensitive to moisture, so it does not affect the hardening process.
    Silicone free

DeckPro Primer SF can be used as a primer on all DeckPro flooring systems.

Before the applicator team begins applying the DeckPro Primer SF product, please prepare the surface or substrate as follows:

  • Make sure that the surface (substrate) is free from oil, grease, hardeners and other foreign particles.
  • Clean by brushing or vacuuming before using DeckPro Primer SF.
  • The substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 1.5 N/mm2
  • It is recommended to carry out the treatment mechanically using a shot blasting or sand blasting machine until the concrete surface meets standards.
  • DeckPro Primer SF can be applied directly to the surface if the moisture content of the substrate does not exceed 75% as measured using a suitably calibrated hygrometer, or in accordance with a recognized standard.

Each DeckPro Primer SF packaging consists of 2 components with each weight as follows:

Component A 3.4kg

Component B 1.6kg
